Dr. Adnan Mahmood, D.O. is a board certified neurologist with special interests in headaches, strokes, and epilepsy. He has additional board certification in Headache Medicine by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Headache Society. He has presented at the American College of Osteopathic Neurologists and Psychiatrists Conference.Dr. Mahmood attended medical school at A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his neurology residency at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. During his residency, Dr. Mahmood obtained extra training in electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG).Dr. Mahmood is passionate about staying up-to-date on all the latest in the field of neurology. He cares deeply about helping his patients understand their diagnoses and treatments. Before joining IMS, he practiced general neurology in western Pennsylvania.
