Dr. Lory Baraz obtained her M.D. at Rutgers Medical School in New Jersey. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later returned to Rutgers for her fellowship with the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. Following her fellowship, she became board-certified in diabetes and endocrinology and practiced for several years while affiliated with the medical school.

During that time, she was selected for fellowship status in the American College of Physicians and the American College of Clinical Endocrinology. More recently, she was named as a fellow in the Endocrine Alliance. Over the past years, Dr. Baraz has been included in the list of 3 best rated endocrinologists in Phoenix on multiple occasions. She has been selected by Phoenix Magazine as a Top Doctor for Endocrinology multiple times. Dr. Baraz takes the doctor-patient relationship very seriously as a critical aspect for providing the best possible medical care.
