Air Force, Lt Colonel Rosemarie D. Gotshall, M.D. is returning to IMS after having provided eight years of Internal Medicine service to the Gila River Native American Community. Her diverse background and love for medicine since graduating medical school in 2000, includes: Family/Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. She is Board Certified following her Residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Phoenix in 2005.

Dr. Gotshall has a long-standing and prestigious Military Career that spans 16 years: Eight in the US Army as a Combat Nurse, as well as Army Band Musician, and her remaining eight years in the USAF, as a Flight Surgeon at Luke, AFB. In addition to her numerous Military Awards, she has also received several accolades for her superb work as a Specialist in the Fields of Family and Emergency medicine including a highly distinguished award from the American Institute of Family Medicine, where she was peer-elected as one of the “Top Ten Best Family Physicians” in AZ, 2016-2017.

In 2023, Dr. Gotshall was awarded the Degree of Fellow from the American Academy of Family Physicians, one of only 6 awarded in the state of Arizona, establishing her as a champion of family medicine and distinguishing herself among her colleagues.

Dr. Gotshall is very excited about returning to IMS and continuing their dedicated mission of providing the very best patient-centered health care in the Valley.
